I use a Rode NT1-A mic connected to a Lexicon Lambda audio interface which is connected to my laptop. I use Adobe Audition 3 to edit my recordings.

Doing covers of songs I wish I wrote. To be honest, I think this was a bit ambitious of me but I love this song so much that I had to try. (Basically, I love everything by Alison Sudol). It’s not perfect, but it will do. HAHA. Listen with ear/headphones :)

Thinking of doing covers of songs I wish I wrote as part of a collection or something.

Might have to put the volume up a bit. This song was written in about an hour. It was one of those writing sessions where you’re so engrossed in the music that it’s like you leave the earth for a few moments and then suddenly it’s done, right before you. Writing a sad song.

Happy songs are definitely not as satisfying to write and record as sad songs.
